Meet the Founder

Hi! My name is Shivan Segrest, founder, health coach, foodie, and wife to an amazing guy, Mike. 


It wasn't long ago I was dealing with my own health issues - chronic gut inflammation, extreme fatigue and infertility. I sought the help of my regular doctor and could not find the answers to my health issues. I was given medicine to act as a bandaid for my issues, and I became frustrated. I wanted to understand the root cause of my issues. As we tried various fertility treatments, I remember feeling powerless, like I had no voice and no choice in my own health journey. I had to become my own advocate so I began doing my own research to discover the options available to me.


At the recommendation of a friend, I began to see a naturopathic doctor and nutritionist. Within the first few months, I started to see drastic improvements with simple diet and lifestyle changes. I felt empowered as I gained the knowledge and tools to finally take charge of my own health - without using medicine to mask the symptoms. Being able to ease my symptoms through my own actions and being able to hold myself accountable gave me my power back. I no longer felt hopeless... I felt empowered, and so can you.
